I would NEVER go back to #FloraBraids in #WestOrange. I am extremely disappointed. 😩 I showed them a picture of EXACTLY how I wanted my hair and repeatedly explained that I wanted the braids fuller, they didn’t even use the entire pack of hair that I purchased. I’ve been here a few times. The final result is always nice but I wish they knew how to gently blow dry type 4 hair. Last time I went, the braided used a wide tooth comb and a blow dryer with high heat. I saw all the length I retained being ripped out. It’s also painful and uncomfortable. They don’t use any heat protectant.
I scheduled a 12pm Sunday appointment days in advance and was quoted a specific price. I arrived 10 minutes early, confirmed my appointment, and was told to wait as a worker prioritized taking a walk in client because “she was only getting two braids”. I wasn’t actually seated until around 12:45, and services didn’t really begin until close to 1pm. I didn’t finish until about 6pm. The first time I’ve gone to a Braider and my box braids were neat and lasted 2.5 months inspite of my hair texture. They were fast & reasonably priced too. Not going anywhere else
