Very poor experience, would not recommend. We hired Dave from Flooring Now to do the floors in our townhome in 2024 and he did a great job. We moved the following year and hired him again to do the floors in our new home and had a horrible experience. He provided us with the attached quote in July 2025 that we agreed to and on the morning that the job (in October) was scheduled to begin he phoned to inform us that the quote he provided did not include an installation fee that would cost an additional $1900. Phenomenal work by Dave and his team. From start to finish they've been very on top of things when it comes to communication and expertise. The floors look phenomenal and the stairs are gorgeous. I truly appreciated the flexibility through all the scope creep.
Dave and his team from Flooring Now did a great job with our floors. He was a responsive communicator, easy to coordinate with, easy-going, and his team did an awesome job on floors that had quite a bit of wear and tear. He also gave good advice on what type of finish to use. I would definitely hire him again.
Dave and his team refinished the original flooring in our 1912 Ottawa row house, which had been covered since the 1970s, and in some places longer. They also custom-built transitions and installed oak flooring in the front entry closet. The transformation was incredible. I was equally impressed by their professionalism, clear communication, and fair pricing. I’ve already recommended Flooring Now to one of our neighbours and will continue to do so.
