JC flooring hired his pal Gerald to write a report relieving them of any issues with their wooden floor. After 1-2 months the floors started cracking and peeling off on superficial levels. Gerald is rude and does not do much as he is paid by JC flooring so why would he write a report reflecting the issue is from the wooden floor. He will lose business with them. Gerald is a nice, friendly guy but definitely won't be using him again. We had issues with our floor nearly 7 months after installed. Our floor supplier set me up with Gerald to perform inspection. He came for literally 10 min with actual inspection being 5 min of that. He claimed we had moisture beneath newly installed floor. Please look at the pics below. Obviously not a moisture issue but I guess you won't assess properly when you don't inspect carefully. His poor work quality has set us back quite a bit.

As a flooring distributor, we receive claims regarding defective material. Gerald has always been really fast and been very responsive. As a third party inspector, his reports are very concise and well written to explain the problems and issues regarding the claims. If you are ever unsure of your flooring product and what is wrong, we highly recommend Gerald for all your flooring inspection needs.
