My colleague introduced me to Floating and says this is the best spot in Phoenix; he was right. Michael the owner is very knowledgable and is happy to explain how floating can change your life. The facilities are extremely clean, the prices are the actual cheapest in Phoenix and I love the hot tea before/ or after the float. Definitely will come back and recommend. Thanks Michael!
I drive from Prescott Valley to float at Floatology. I appreciate the float room versus a pod. Having done the research as well as my own healing experiences, there is tremendous value in floating with this style tank/room for those who are disabled, elderly, claustrophobic, etc. I feel near instant relief from anxiety, pts, and chronic pain. My daughters experienced their first floats today and cannot wait to return. Detoxing is our way of life after many years of living in mold and now healing from mold illness.
I've discovered, floating is a Practice...not an event. I have multiple chronic conditions from Fibromyalgia, Epstein Barre Virus/Chronic Fatigue along with Complex PTSD, etc. There have been days where getting over to float was a Major task ....only to peace fully walk back out an hour later, knowing I'm healing. Happy to see that they have float rooms instead of pods. Welcomed by the owner and felt comfortable since I had floated before. The great thing is shower time does not reflect on your float time so you'll have a full 6o minute float. Super affordable.
I'm so excited that Floatology opened right down the street from my condo in the Cornerstone Shopping Center in the heart of Tempe near ASU. They have full-sized float tanks and offer $35 Monthly Memberships. If you're a habitual floater, you need to check out this Float Center and if you're brand new to floating, this is a great place to try your first float!
Was one of the best experiences of my life. If you want to feel like you’re floating in space give this a try. 10/10 would recommend!!
Two employees were chatting when we walked in this small place. We were not greeted until their conversation was over. (These employees went on to use the F word as common vocabulary while I spent an hour waiting for my husband to finish...no professionalism at all). Place was super hot and smelled of salt and human sweat. My Shower wasn’t wiped down before my float and everything was wet and slick.
