I was part of a Moose hunting group from MN for 7 years, ‘95-01; we rented boats here for use as lodging HQ while on 1 to 2 week hunts in the deep bush of Lake of the Woods. The boats were always in perfect operational condition; each season the business owner provided us with excellent operational instructions on the use of the boat. A first class operation!

Rented house boats from here over the years and highly recommend. Haven't been there since Jim retired. Thanks for the good times!
New owners for 2023 season, purchased 4 of 9 Houseboats from prior owner (Jim/retiring). Despite the normal transition and associated anxiety of a wholesale change, Everything couldn't have gone more smoothly. New owner (Ken) is amazingly cordial, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Houseboats dock, leave, and return from/to Sioux Narrows. Well organized, helpful staff, beautiful setting, reasonable pricing, memorable experiences. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
We went last summer, two couples. A wonderful trip, great staff. They brought us ice and bait halfway through our trip. Houseboats are very well set up and stocked. Very sorry that they are ceasing operations. We are looking at renting somewhere else for summer of 2023. Have to say that so far no one compares to Jim's operation.
