My massage therapist, Guillermo was intuitive and in tune with my body. He worked with my breath, creating resistance on my inhales and dug in deeper with my exhales. Huxley, my float facilitator was very professional and friendly with calm energy. Dana met me on my way out and was super excited for me and the beginning of my journey into healing. The float started to put my soul back together. There aren’t enough thank you’s for Float North.
This was my second "float" visit. I wanted to be sure I had at least 2 visits before sharing my real experience. This is WONDERFUL! First, the facility is clean and inviting. Staff is great and fully explained what to do, what to expect, and how to best enjoy and take advantage of the experience. Secondly, I have never had a better and deeper meditative experience. Float North is amazing. I’ve been a regular for a couple of years and plan to continue for many more. If you are curious, I’d highly encourage you to try floating here. The owner and staff are very friendly and the whole experience is relaxing and rejuvenating. Everything is very clean and inviting. Love x10000. This may become my new local, even though I live in Salem. Everything about the space feels thoughtful and peaceful and good. Starting with the easy parking (easy parking in Portland!). And my getting there very-much-not 15 mins early due to poor traffic planning on my part, only to be greeted by a warm “it’s ok! You’re here!” Also love the shower having its own drain, so that the whole floor of the cabin doesn’t get wet; the roomy towel for drying off; and the ready-room for post-float.
