I've been going to flippers for about 15 years at this point. I initially went on a whim around 2010 when I was looking to go out for seafood. It has always been a good experience. I say good beacuse it's not great, just good. Its hard to find the resturant as theres just a tiny sign and a long staircase. The resturant is upstairs. It is our go to restaurant. Great food and wonderful service. Not Noisy. Depending on your company you can have good conversations!
I’ve been coming to Flipper’s for years and always had great to experiences. However, the service has been extremely underwhelming the last several times I’ve been in. My most recent meal was also quite average - bland and flavourless. I’ll be back at some point, but will try another seafood restaurant first.
Food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned. It made us realize how overseasoned most food at chain restaurants really are. Service was friendly. Our server steered us towards menu items that she knew we'd like. Ambiance was cozy and quiet - a refreshing change from the seafood places we usually go to. It's comfortable and cozy.
