Great location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment facing Flinders Lane. The early morning noise is quite loud. The apartment is a good size, but feels a bit grubby. Not to say it wasn't clean, but there were holes in the wall and ceiling. Grubby around frequently used switches etc. No shampoo in one shower. Lots of little things that made this more of a 3 star then advertised 4 star. I would not recommend staying at this property. After a 15-hour drive to Melbourne, we checked into the apartment expecting a clean and comfortable place to rest, however the condition of the room was extremely disappointing. The sofa had a strong unpleasant smell and appeared dirty, the carpet smelt damp as though it had been wet for some time, and the air conditioner remote was not working. Perfect spot to stay but has no disabled access. Does not say anything on the website re lack of access. Most buildings with front entry stairs have a ramp access elsewhere. I was caught out and as non refundable, had no choice but for my daughter to lift mobility scooter in and out of the building. Apartments were huge to what I was expecting but although bedding, bathroom and kitchen were clean as in a basic clean for the next person, the apartment needs a good spring clean.
