A great festival that showcases innovative and compelling films!
What an AMAZING festival! I've had the great pleasure and honor to screen my film "Meeting MacGuffin" multiple times at Flickers' in October at Vortex where it won the Grand Prize for Animated Short. I couldn't have had a better time and I also really enjoyed beautiful Providence and met the most wonderful people. Shawn Quirk is a fantastic Program Director. A great festival. Some high quality films for sure. A diverse group of artistic expressions from all over the world. The production value of some were higher than others, of course, but the passion for the craft was clear when any of the filmmakers had the opportunity to share with the audience. Next year I will certainly clear my calendar so that I can go to more events surrounding the festival. Film is alive and well in Rhode Island! Great job!!
