I rented a desk space at the Grange location of Flick the Switch for a few months, as a place to get some writing done. I went mostly on evenings and weekends and found it very quiet, great for doing focused work. It's inspiring to be working in an old church rectory, surrounded by art and other creative people. The fenced-in garden is magical in the summer -- if you're lucky, you may spot the resident rabbit!

Susan was very accommodating and quick to respond to any issues or concerns. I was in the Parkdale space for over a year or so and have enjoyed my stay there and the use of the space for creative endeavours.

I rented a studio in Parkdale from Flick the Switch. Although I wasn't able to take the studio in the end because of other commitments, Susan was a pleasure to deal with, and the vibe of the space and community was great.

I am most familiar with the art work of Susan N. Stewart whose paintings I have been collecting for over thirty years. Over that period I have discarded or sold other pieces but Susan's work always seems fresh and endlessly intriguing. I have appreciated, like any great artist, that her approach has changed over time and I have family portraits (commissions), abstract work, themed work, both on canvas and with found objects in large format and small. I recommend her work without hesitation.
