I have been a customer of theirs for 20 years over multiple cars and always receive good work and a fair price. A good mechanic is hard to find, so give them a try, they have established a great reputation with their long term customers.
They’ve gone down hill and are predatory on people who don’t know cars, they tried to say my boyfriend’s brakes were on their last limb, that his rotors and calibers were also in desperate need of replacement, and were going to charge 2000 to fix all this. Had my mechanic friend look at it and while Flextune said, “ur brake pads are half the width of a credit card” we saw them for ourselves and they were a half inch thick. Wonderful staff, prices are reasonable and they do good work.
This repair shop is one of the best in Bloomington. Mike is very knowledgable in repairing vehicles. I had major problems with the brake system on my 2001 Nissan Frontier. The dealership wouldn't touch my truck because its too old according to them. I brought the hard to find parts to FlexTune and they repaired all the issues. My brakes work great! I highly recommend this shop.
I CAN NOT PUT INTO WORDS JUST HOW GRATEFUL I AM TO MIKE THE OWNER OF FLEXTUNE!! After being at my wits end due to numerous misdiagnosis’s AND INCORRECT INJECTOR INSTALLATIONS… subsequently damage to fuel rail resultant from improper part being “forced” into place causing “O-ring damage,” X 2…!!! Boy was I upset at the news!!! ***** HOWEVER****** Mike did an honest technical analysis , immediately apprised me of the necessary costs and went over and above his responsibility!!!
