I had a very negative and troubling experience with FlexiSupport and would strongly caution others to carefully assess their suitability. In my experience, the support workers involved did not act in a way that aligned with safe, client-centred care or professional standards. Employed the services of Elaine through Flexisupport. She was wonderful and helped me through some tough weeks.
Had the services for my brother, the service coordinator was nice and very helpful. Couldn’t say the same for the help though, he didn’t get along well with my brother and social worker made my brother pay for his worker meal. Which was not part of our contract, it was a big headache for us to get a refund back into my brothers pocket. After that it just felt like there was a lot of broken trust, we were was just very disappointed.
Excellent organisation to work for. They really take care of their support workers. Lovely people.
