Came here for a huge family reunion; took the entire house (self catered) so we were too drunk and happy to notice at first that the “historic” details are mostly just euphemism for “old and tired”. Everything works just fine — except the internet, which we complained about but didn’t hear back. Perhaps that’s the host’s way to tell us to be mindful and focus on my in-laws. I loved this little place…my husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and i absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere
We stayed at Fleur De Lis the week prior to christmas and had a fantastic stay. I don’t stay in super luxury places often but to me this definitely felt vintage luxury and in no way run down. Check in/out were easy and the stay was very private. There were other guests staying there but it still felt like we had the whole mansion to ourselves.
