Traveled to Grand Marais to enjoy the UP 200 Dog Sled Race. Fletchy's was close to town & the turn around point for the teams. Great location, quiet, close to beach where in warmer weather it would be perfect for rock hunting, watching sunrise or set, night sky watching, & especially to view the Northern Lights if out. By no means a luxury room, but clean, warm and comfortable. But the best part is the owner, a genuinely great guy that aims to please, cares about customers and feels like an instant old friend. We'll be back. We were there to snowmobile. Plenty of parking for vehicles with trailers, attached cafe was good and convenient. 100% would recommend as a home base for any excursions in the area.
