Very hot this weekend and all of next week. These temperatures are especially dangerous for short nosed breeds. Stay with your pets when you let them out, and keep a large container of water outside for them to drink from. If they show any sign of distress, such as panting, get them back inside and cool them down. It's springtime, even though the calendar says we have a few more weeks of winter. That means it's time to clean up any debris in your yard that can harbor snakes. It is equally important to keep your grass mowed to make the yard inhospitable to snakes. Apparenly, hawks love to eat snake, and closely kept lawns allow hawks to spot the slithery creatures.

Vincent is modeling our new cat condos! Each condo has an upper and lower story, with a perch in each section and a nice view out off the window from the upper living area. These accommodations are $18/night, and are well worth it!
