Flavor is an absolute oasis of great food. Long Lake offers plenty of beauty and tranquility, but not very good food. The scones and chocolate cake with strawberries are superb. I haven't tried their savory offerings, but the baked goods are outstanding ... especially for a little place tucked away in the Adirondacks. The owners are delightful and kind, and always greet you with a smile. This place could easily thrive in the nicest neighborhoods in Manhattan.
