Standing in front of the door since 8:15am because I was told to come early... ignored by reception. Finally went to the door again and was "seen" and let in. I'm so tired from working overnight and have this headache hence this appointment. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but want to share my experience, so that it might help others. Went to Dr. Flavill when my mom started experiencing dementia. Now that I’ve gotten a second opinion, I realize he totally over medicated her. Then when that medication lost effectiveness (antidepressant), he did not prescribe a new antidepressant! I don’t want to get too into it, but Dr. Flavill really did mess up I think. It was an awful experience- for my mother and I. Looking back on our experience with him, I wish I would ... read more
When other specialists wrongly attributed my back problems to my cerebral palsy, Dr. Flavill kept looking for answers as to why I was losing the ability to walk and was in constant pain. He suspected lumbar stenosis from the beginning and sent me to a neurosurgeon when multiple MRIs were inconclusive; that neurosurgeon found the problem immediately and soon had me in surgery. I will never recover the physical abilities I lost, but Dr. Flavill's persistence kept my from growing worse. For that, I am grateful.
