Very poor communication, late to setup tent and dishonest about arrival time. Was told tent would be setup at 9am and they arrived at 12. Then pickup didn’t go well either. They asked if they could pick up the tent early (Sunday morning), to which I said no, as our contract was for picking up the tent on the Monday. My fiance and I booked a tent and some equipment for our wedding on Sept. 1, 2024 (September long). We booked it pretty far out in advance, about a year. After running into some severe financial and family issues, we unfortunately had to cancel the wedding. This was about 11 months from the date. We had paid a $1,200 deposit, and thought since it was so far from the date and was a popular weekend (sure to rebook), that they would give us even a partial refund of our deposit.
