Built in 1912 by George Bernhard Prinz, the Flatiron Hotel was constructed in the Georgian Revival style. One of the most peculiar buildings in the city, the Flatiron has a unique triangular design, owing to its location at the crossing of St. Mary’s Avenue and Howard Street. Starter platter was nice, steak not so much- it was too salty
I’m a new resident, but I love the building! The property manager Chanel is very attentive and knowledgeable, and she was able to help me through the move in process. I love the building, but one of the reasons I decided on this apartment was the fact that Chanel was genuinely excited to show me the apartment. In fact, she matched me with the apartment before I even knew it existed.
Just moved out after living here for 3 years. I will miss it so much, and I just loved my apartment. They did a really quality job renovating it, while maintaining it's true historic character. I also always had a good experience when needing maintenance at the apartment. I also loved seeing the growth of downtown Omaha in the time that I lived there, and I know that residents living downtown are a part of that awesome growth. My favorite part of living there is my Saturday stroll to the farmer's market in the summertime.
