Out of town and stopped in looking for a haircut for my sons. One barber was cutting hair, one was on his phone, and another was on break. We sat down to wait and weren’t acknowledged at all. When I asked if a reservation was needed, I was told someone would be with us shortly, but no one ever came over. Too much time on phones, not enough basic customer service. I won’t support a place that can’t even offer a simple greeting.
An hour and $30 spent on a haircut only for my hairline to be visibly lopsided is insane. Earns a star for the short wait time I had.
Best Shop in Hampton Roads
I stopped by the shop to ask if someone could give my grandson a simple temp fade haircut. I spoke with a barber who came across as blunt and unhelpful. He first said, “I don’t do them,” and then clarified he meant kids. There were no other patrons in this establishment.. no one but me and the barber. As a 757 native, there are several barbershops to choose from but Flashlight as a brand has ALWAYS been there for me! From Chesapeake Square, to Military Circle, and now to Greenbrier Mall I’ve been a solid and faithful patron to the crew. Rico, Kyrie, Chris, “B”, Kato, Big Will, and Mike have been my dudes!
