I had a pending dispute wth Danbury hospital over a bill. Robt Peat sent me a noticee for small claims court. I had to reply by 9/13/16. I returned a letter, court papers and other information about the dispute to him, certified, which he recieved on 9/12. Yesterday, I recd a court decision because I " had not filed an Answer by the answer date." Obviously, this is untrue. 9/14/16 very unprofessional staff. Rude and unqualified to answer questions regarding a legitimate error on their part. A mistake by them was made on a judgement release pertaining to Book & Page numbers. This caused confusion on my title search. They admitted fault and sent a new Release to me. When I brought it to my Town Clerk they asked for an additional $53.00. I asked Flanagan & Peat if I could pick up a check for the additional filing fee at which time they questioned me and said I might spend the money on myself inst... read more
