3 visits to my home for frost buildup in freezer, 1 month after purchase, 4 months after purchase and 5 months after purchase in Clarkston, GA. Totally incompetent Tech. Uses his phone or guesses at diagnosis. Obviously little or no training. Only positive, he is polite and respectful of your home. The negative reviews are real people. I cannot speak for the technical abilities of the technicians because I never even got that far in my attempt to work with this company. My complaint is their lack of regard for the Customer. Most companies, when they can't deliver on what they say will do they attempt to make it right with/for the customer. We are dissatisfied with Flamingo Appliance. They've made 5 visits to repair our ice maker and it still does not work. Every time they schedule to fix it "again" it's always two more weeks! They make their problems your problem. Don't expect to talk with anyone at Flamingo because they won't speak to you. They only leave you voicemail or have you call the answering service. Use a different company for your repairs.
RUN as fast as you can away from this repair service! They came out 6 times between June 11 - August 30 and couldn't fix my ice maker (whirlpool warranty repair).. Finally I asked Annie in customer service for a supervisor and she said, very unkindly, no one was available. They sent out Alvin - what a bust - literally. If I could give a negative zero I would. Flamingo Appliance is the worst company Whirlpool could use for warranty repairs. I am now on appointment #4 and my simple apartment type icemaker is still not fixed. When I purchased my home a Whirlpool appliance package was included. So, when I went online to place an appointment, I was given Flamingo as a repair company to complete a warranty claim. Beware of this company they suck. Do not use this company. suck . They cancel both appointments had to reschedule and then reschedule again both times they charge $430 to fix an ice maker. They are ridiculously overpriced no customer service. Took six weeks to get a simple icemaker fixed.
They collect service fees in advance without repairing anything. In fact, they do not carry parts on their trucks. Rather, they promise to come out and look at your appliance but can't actually do the work when scheduled.
