Excellent Food! Outstanding Service! – Flaming Wok is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Houston area! My partner and I eat there quite often and we have NEVER been disappointed! One of our favorite menu items is the Sizzling Rice Soup...the rice actually sizzles and pops when it is served! It's fantastic! Other favorites include the Mu Shu Pork and the Chow Mein with Tofu! Worst Chinese food I've ever had! – My mom and I went here because there isn't a lot of good Chinese food in the area. We won't be going back. The food was just terrible. I ordered the lemon chicken and she got the sweet and sour chicken. Both of our plates were exactly the same except that her plate had red goo covering the chicken and mine had yellow goo. Best Chinese in town! – I've been eating at restaurants owned by this family for many years now (they also own Shan Hu in the Hobby Airport area). I am probably the pickiest Chinese eater you'll ever meet. Very few chinese places impress me. Flaming Wok and Shan Hu are absolutely the best, hands down.
