Charming atmosphere/good food and service – We had a party of 10. The service was great. They brought out a desert with candle and sang "Happy Birthday" to my daughter. The mussels, salmon, duck, soups, and mango sorbet were excellent. Steaks were just okay. Coq au vin had too much sauce and thick chewy skin. I would definitely go back, although a little pricy for the size of the portions. The sides with the entrees looked more like garnish. Over all, though, i very enjoyable experience.
Unbelievable!!! – I cannot believe that I did not know about this Uptown gem sooner, and I'm absolutely THRILLED to know that it is in my neighborhood! Thus, I want to spread the word to anyone who would like to hear it. The Flaming Torch is FABULOUS! lovely french food – Since a friend introduced me to this lovely and charming restaurant for lunch post-K, I have been in love with it! The atmosphere and ambience are charming, whether you are dining solo, in a group or on a romantic date. It's a great place to take out of town guests, too, for excellent French food.
