No hate at all, but I don’t understand the hype I’ve been seeing with this place. I ordered a cheesy beef and jerk chicken pattie and it couldn’t taste further from cheesy beef or jerk chicken. The jerk chicken tasted and smelled like barbecue chicken and wasn’t very pleasant in taste. The cheesy beef was a complete disappointment in taste also. I would not recommend but of course, be open-minded and try for yourself. Again, no hate but Jamaican/Caribbean places need to up their game and take on real feedback!
The pastry is incredibly flakey and tasty. The fillings are great too. I ordered oxtail, jerk chicken, callaloo and cheesy beef. They were all really good. We bought bulk, so the price per patty was really reasonable. Will be ordering again soon.
Hello, I live in Portsmouth but originally from Wolves, I have Jamaican parents and have eaten Caribbean food all my life, I have tried to find the best patties that deliver to me and FCB does not disappoint, the Curry Goat and the Lamb are my favourite by far, the flavouring and meat content was exceptional Honestly I cannot comment on any other food item but as for the patties 10/10 keep up the good work !!!
