I was just released from Langston Shores rehab after suffering a broken ankle. At 83 years of age, I wasn't sure I would ever be the same. Boy was I wrong. The staff from aides to PT & OT professionals were amazing, and after 17 days I returned to my home, where I live alone, full of confidence with the ability to move pretty easily in my boot with the help of my walker. I am an entertainer and I had the privilege of performing at Flagstone’s memory care section yesterday. I have performed in other memory care residences hundreds of times, but never have I observed such an abundant or as an attentive activities staff as I did here. There were five staff members present throughout the entire performance, and they were fully engaged with the residents in the form of dancing, holding hands, and simply engaging to keep the residents focused and alert to ensure their maximum enjoyment.
