Please do not waste your time signing up for any sort of bank promotion with this Flagstar. I opened an account back in November and called multiple times making sure I met the requirements for the promotion. 90 days has came and went with the advertised requirements being met, and I still do not see the cash deposited. I finally call the branch today to see what is going on, as it has been months, but they gave me a runaround answer explaining how I suddenly did not meet the requirements. Chris Terry is one of the most professional and ambitious person I know. He takes his business seriously and only delivers the best rate and processing around! His communication is the best I ever had to deal with in the industry! They deducted someone else’s house payment from my checking account (which caused me to receive an overdraft fee). They then made me jump through all these hoops to get the money back when it was their error in the first place!!! They never apologized for the huge mess they created, that was the last straw for me!!! After everything was settled I closed out my checking & savings accounts. Lesson learned...stick with credit unions!
I love Flagstar...I live right in the middle of a 20 mile radius Flagstar deficient zone but I make it work ...
