We have 2 fireplace inserts in our home which were installed when we built it 25 yrs. ago. One of them has never worked right with intermittent problems getting it to turn on. Finally it would not turn on at all. I had 2 other local companies come to fix it. 1 removed a critical part completely which did nothing for the fireplace. The other came twice and finally said don't call me again to fix this and quit throwing money at this one. You need to buy a new one. Last summer, we decided to install a Heartland Wood Cookstove in our home here in Flagstaff, so we visited Flagstaff Hearth & Home on 4th St. to see if they could help us. disappointing in flagstaff did not show up on time for 1st apointment. When they did show up the service rep. did not know what to do after spending an hr discussing issues with the owner. Rep. Spent 15min lighting a pilot. Charged for a hour and when requested to come back and deal with the problem wantted to charge more. Shoddy wk ethics.
