New to the area and my boyfriend and I went to the ER after he suffered an unidentified insect bite that we suspected he may have been having an allergic reaction to given his family history. There was not a single other patient in the ER, but there was zero urgency in treating him. The doctor and nurse were rude and at one point actually said "what did you expect to happen here/ what treatment do you expect to recieve" the whole thing was very bizarre almost as if they were shaming the patient for seeking medical treatment.... read more
This place really took a turn for the worse. I used to feel comfortable and safe coming here but ever since UF Health took over, I don’t feel that anymore. I feel discriminated against and leaving without being seen! I never been mistreated like this in a hospital! I would give 0 stars but I had to give 1 in order to post! If you want to feel safe and comfort, DO NOT COME HERE!

Taken by an ambulance for chest pain, waited 4 hours. Never had an IV, a scan, nothing. This hospital needs serious help! Left on my own after waiting for nothing!
Taken care of quickly long wait for test snd decison to keep him there
