The doctor is great however the front reception is HORRIBLE! My husband and I call multiple times a day and it rings and rings just to go straight to voicemail. I leave a voicemail and no one calls back. I have been waiting for a referral for 10 days now. I made an appointment and it was 1130am I arrived at 1130, receptionist Tricia said I was late, she say you are supposed to checkin at 1115 & the DR see you at 1130, I was not told about that & she said I had to reschedule, I asked can I still be seen, she say Dr already seeming someone else. I was very confused and one of the MA said reschedule or I should've step up a virtual appointment instead of coming that far. Sadly, Dr. Imhof has left the practice. Rather than offering referrals for alternatives within the UF Health group, your only options are to see the NP IF you do not need any changes to prescriptions or to wait until Dr. Imhof’s replacement takes over in two months. I had some issues in the past with this location regarding the lack of follow through/commitment to patients by the team. We worked through those only because of Dr. Imhof. I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by the receptionist, Tricia Petrisko. I called the office to follow up on a referral from my PCP, only to be met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of professionalism. Tricia spoke over me, didn’t listen to my concerns, and questioned why I was calling two months later—as if I was being unreasonable for following up on my own healthcare. Amazing primary care. Was so sad to leave due to my insurance. Dr. Imhof is great and extremely helpful. He really took the time to address any concerns I had. The front desk is amazing and always calls back. Even the nurses were beyond helpful with any medication concerns. Thank you guys for everything!
