I call to become a new patient, the lady on the phone was not very caring. She cared more about my insurance than me. When I said it doesn't matter, I'd just pay for it myself if she could get my paperwork started she informed me that they do not or accept self pay. So, cash is not good? Hmmmm. Also you have to fill out paperwork and become an approved patient before they will schedule an exam. I will continue my search.
My husband wanted to be seen as a new patient, he was not feeling well, (diabetic issues) I called on a Monday left a message with the new patient coordinator, after 4 hours I called back spoke to the receptionist and was told to come pick up a new patient packet, to speed things up. That same day I picked up the packet and the following day Tuesday I returned the completed packet. I love Dr. Look, but there is no walk-in availability in the Palatka location, and if I'm hurting I don't want to Drive to St. Augustine to be seen. What happened to Doctors saying " have a seat and I'll get you in as soon as I can" I went to Medex got seen within 35-40minutes, I have a UTI. The pain was horrible. But I was able to the medicine I needed to clear it up.
