If I could give less stars, I would. Me and another client had reported a staff member we suspected of possibly using and one of their counselors (Rachel Short) decided to constantly tell me and this said other client we were acting like we were working there. This counselor got under my skin so bad (knowing I was homeless) that I left, had one beer, went back with the high hopes they'd take me to another facility in which they did. This place is no good. I left after 9 days. Staff don't care, medical don't care, no groups . Its a waste of time. They bill ur insurance double, lose ur property or steal it more likely. I put a grievance to Albany about them. Don't go there.
Maxwell Hall is a terrible place. No groups, no meetings. No Counselors. The only good thing about this place is the food. If you are needing quality recovery please do not come here. All you will do is sit and watch TV all day. You will be lucky to get your medication. This facility should be shut down.
Not a good place to go, they will charge you money over and above your insurance and you pay it or they won’t let you out, the person I know there is always sick which makes me think that they don’t clean. There are other rehab allot better.
Bad communication. Things are very unorganized. The staff never stay there long.
