I had the technician come out because my AC wasn’t cooling properly. He told me it was a thermostat issue, replaced it, and charged me for the visit and part. But the problem continued turns out the real issue was with the blower motor, which I had confirmed by a second company. So now I’m out money for a repair that didn’t solve the problem, and when I called to explain, they said the thermostat “needed replacing anyway.” That may be true, but I called for a specific issue that wasn’t fixed.
