This practice is everything that is wrong with todays healthcare. No communication, I can not count how many times I called this practice and no one answered the phones. Left messages, nothing. Funny when you go to their waiting room, they sit in the dark, all quiet, very quiet and no phones ringing for my entire wait time. Strange. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Having issues with my gut... The staff is very helpful and courteous... Don't give up easily on things that seem to hide....
I have not yet seen a doctor here, but wanted to report my experience in view of all the negative reviews I read. I called the office, went through the normal push button routine, but it was quick and reasonable. Almost immediately then a friendly woman answered, and gave me even more information than I expected. I now have an appointment at a convenient time and I’m looking forward to the visit.
I went to them in Dec 24 due to abdominal pain. Waited an hour for a 5 min visitation where the doctor recommended an endoscopy. The experience felt very routine and as though this was the answer for everything. I asked if my previous conditions (that I explained to the nurse that took my vitals and on the many forms I had to fill out) were an issue. The doctor has no clue about them. I was referred to Florida Digestive Health Specialists in 2021 by my primary doctor due to severe stomach aches and nausea. Initially, I saw Dr. Popper, who recommended a colonoscopy and endoscopy, both of which returned normal results. After Dr. Popper moved to a different location, I was assigned to Dr. Bernstein. Unfortunately, my pain and discomfort persisted. Dr. Bernstein's team suspected diverticulosis and prescribed antibiotics couple of times, which did not alleviate my symptoms.
