I discovered this plan many years ago. I found a wonderful periodontist. I got a better discount on my daughter's orthodontia services than the actual dental office that did the work offered. They are not insurance, but frankly, they are better than what I saw offered by insurance plans, who have long waiting periods for some services, and some others not covered at all.

We are retired and do not have expensive dental insurance. Found out about this plan 8 years ago; it is a discount plan not an insurance plan but it works for us. Find a dentist (or endodontist) near you listed in the Five Star plan papers, but suggest you first call and ask them to confirm membership in the plan.

Buyer beware. I purchased this plan because according to their website they were honored at my Dentist. When I got to my appointment my Dentist said they no longer accepted this insurance, however their website has not been updated. Check with your Dentist before purchasing.

I have had this plan for myself and family members about 7 years. The discounts are fantastic and my dentist is great. Wisdom teeth, crowns, and regular checkups and cleanings all obtained at 50% of the regular price, or less. No other dental plan or insurance comes close.
