Awesome contribution to our utility community
The local guide should stick to restaurant reviews and things he knows about. Dave Walsh an CEO of a power systems company says that solar power costs 4x as much to implement compared to LNG. The only reason the solar farms exist is the fact that they are heavily subsidized meaning taxpayers are footing the bill. Also even in the long term the energy produced from these 5000+ wasted acres will cost immensely more than LNG or coal or nuclear. It's all just a big gaslighting operation.
Great opportunity to have a renewable and safe energy source. All the other comments are absolutely from people who know nothing about solar. Sadly people hate change and want to make everyone miserable because of it
It's a 5,000 acre monstrosity. If i could give less than 1 star i would. These people are turning Texas into nothing but windmills and solar panels. Gibbons Creek Reservoir and Fairfield Lake were power plant cooling lakes that provided a place for wildlife and recreation, now they're closed down. not only are Texans losing natural areas due to that, these solar farms are taking up massive amounts of land. whether used for ranching and farming or natural areas, we are losing our land
Rogers used to be a beautiful small farm town before these solar panels littered the landscape. What a waste of land and such an eye sore for the community and pass through travelers now. On the bright side at least they didn't build a wind farm.
Five Wells Solar has a 2.3 star rating with 12 reviews.
Five Wells Solar is closed now. It will open on Monday at 7:30 a.m.
