Iowa City is really blessed to have a mechanic like Ghanim in their midst. Today at 4pm and 93⁰, I called Five Star Auto after my A/C stopped working. He told me I could come right in. I did a quick diagnostic in the parking lot and concluded I'd need a new compressor. Quoted me $900-$1000. Comparatively right down the middle on the cost of repair and he would start working on it now and have it back to me the next day. 45 min later he called me and wanted to try something that would cost me half that, and if it didn't work ... read more
I had such a great experience and will definitely be back!! I first came in for an oil change and a few days later my check engine and brake lights came on and they got me in right away. They were very flexible and I’m so grateful as a busy grad student that I was able to have such great help.
