Called them out for my outside ac unit not blowing cold it was a bad capacitor tried to charge me almost $300 for a new one. When shown I’m able to purchase it at Lowe’s for $20 he said I’m paying for his knowledge of the part and the fact he has it in the truck so I paid the visit fee asked him to leave Bought the capacitor watched a 2 min YouTube video and got it done.

Called them to fix an issue with my home furnace. Within 5 min the guy told me I needed a new motor and pressure switch. He said the motor was working harder the it was designed to and it was failing. I knew based on the over amperage and low pressure in the switches the motor wasn’t failing. There was another cause. I called this out and he changed his tune something may be clogged. When I explained that I knew how it worked due to my profession he admitted that he upsells to make money.
