Buyer beware!! I bought 3 properties from 5 Star or Alpine Properties. Marcus, I believe, meant well. But he didn't have any oversight of his rehab crews. For example, I told him that a 2 AC ton unit was installed by his crew in a 1,700 square foot house. I assumed he would put in the right size. Not just crooks, criminals. I only found out that my deal was dead and the house I started working on wasn't mine yet two days after my $40k had supposedly been disbursed. Come to find out, the seller didn't like the used-car-salesman pressure tactics by the guy who was going to make 160% commission on her for doing nothing, precisely nothing.
