When looking for a spot for our grandmother to not just live but to thrive, we were given the name of Five Star from health care workers and providers, current family members of a resident, and past family members of a resident. Right from the start of our initial meeting, we knew it was the right place to call her new home. The facility is updated, clean, and rooms are spacious. I love my apartment at 5 star. There are no steps to climb, which is important to me. The staff is very friendly.
Jan was very nice and professional. She answered all of my and my parents questions at our visit. I highly recommend if you are looking forat assisted living facility.
This place tries mightily to put on a good face, but the subpar services are no longer acceptable. The management has verbally committed to making improvements; however, those commitments haven't come to fruition. The Dining Services is a disgrace, and the cleaning services are not hygienic for the residents. I'm hopeful this review will save other families the frustrations our family has experienced.
