I was on a camping trip 200 miles from home and pulling a camper and my check engine light came on right outside of Whitewater. I quick googled auto shops and they were closest. Boy am I glad of that! They diagnosed the issue and ordered the part and got me in the next day (it was late afternoon when I pulled in). Super friendly and knowledgeable team. They totally saved my vacation and I am so grateful! If I lived here they would be my go to shop, no question. Very affordable too.

I used to go there a couple times just for an oil change but this time my car was making horrible sounds, went there cause I remembered how nice they were before buuuttttt holy moly they wanted to charge me exactly 2,275 telling me my car needed a bunch of parts, obviously I wanted a second opinion, took it to another mechanic and he charged me $350 and my car is now running perfectly fine. I really appreciate the people at Five Star Lopez! :D I've gotten car repairs from Roger a couple of times now, and he is very kind, communicative, and respectful of my time. He took the time to explain what's going on with my car and take me back to the shop to look at the mechanisms he's talking about. He always breaks down the price, explaining what parts and labor cost, and makes an effort to find cheaper used parts (great condition) where possible. Fabian and his son went above and beyond for me today. I rolled in late morning not knowing what was wrong with my car and they had it fixed by the end of the day. They skipped lunch to work on my car because I was in a pickle without it. They are the nicest people and they explained everything in such an easy way to understand. I’ll definitely go back for any future issues with my car. I’d give them ten stars if I could!
