I have had a very bad experience with the service I received from 5 Star. I had them redo my main bathroom several years ago. The installation did not go well. There were several delays due to product availability. What was supposed to take 2 days took weeks to complete. The quality of work was subpar by far. I don’t believe that they use licensed plumbers. I have had leaks since the renovation. They have not responded to any calls or emails to correct the issue.
It looks like we’re not the first people to have this experience — something I really wish we had known beforehand. We had work done in 2024, and to be fair, the workmanship itself was beautiful. It was a significant upgrade from what we had before. What really sold us was the lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, when the time came for what should have been straightforward routine maintenance, getting any follow-up support was nearly impossible. I had a great experience with 5 Star bathroom solutions, they went above and beyond taking care of my bathroom restoration. I did notice a slight scratch at the top on one of the bathroom shower panels about a week later and have tried 5 times to contact customer service. Talked twice to someone answering calls, left messages and even called the person in charge for customer service, no response. I just like to get this resolved. Five star solutions installed my two showers, I got the lifetime warranty, I reached out to fivestar to honor that warranty for replacement parts, 1and half month 6 phone calls and to this day no one has reached out or shown up they just keep telling me someone will contact me in 2-3 business days. I read other reviews after the fact and saw that this is a normal thing for them to not respond to customers call or inquires or fix any issues that develops. This is the worst company. A job that they promised to do in 2 weeks is now going on to 8 months. They don’t have qualified workers. At first they apologized but now they are full of lies. We paid them just about all of the money and I figure the little we owe them it’s not worth them fixing and finishing the horrible job they did. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Liars and cheats.
