Went in for an interview, and was offered the job. Okay awesome! But then the owner went on to say there will be no legal forms for me to sign, and I will be paid cash under the table. He also made a joke about selling old and used parts, saying he can get people to believe they are new so they pay full price. It is safe to say I will not be accepting the job. If the owner is willing to employ people illegally, what else is he doing that no one knows about?
Don't be rude to customers
I booked an appointment through the feature on their Facebook page for 5 pm the next day. When I hadn't received confirmation of my appointment by noon the next day, I called to make sure I could bring my car in. I was told by the employee on the phone that he had no idea about my appointment because the boss wasn't there and wouldn't be there until maybe the next afternoon. Canceled my appointment online and suggest they remove it if it doesn't actually serve a purpose.
I had the interior of our van detailed. It looks like new!
When I randomly chose Five Stars to detail my daughter and son-in-law's van last week, I had no idea what a terrific experience it would turn out to be. I could say many great things about their service, friendliness and affordability, but I think I will sum up how we all felt about Five Stars by quoting one of their children...."Mom, Dad!! Nana bought us a new car!" The next time I visit Iowa City, I am driving my car straight to Five Stars to get my own car detailed!
Five Star Auto definitely has the correct name and deserve 5 stars! The know what they are doing when it comes to cleaning cars. Brought my Scion TC for a wash and he exceeded my expectations. My car looks great inside and out! I felt as if I was just driving off the lot with a brand new car. Awesome service and very impressed with how my car looks! There's no point in looking anywhere else I will definitely be coming back!! I highly recommend them to everyone!
