Beautiful cabin! You have to walk up but they provide you with a propane stove to use. Comfortable amenities and wonderful hiking and sunset views. Did a 4 mile hike through Five Ridge all the way to the Stevenson Preserve to the north. Whip-poor-wills and Barred Owls calling at night.
Didn't rent cabin, but it looks sound and comfy. The hike up there is steep, but well worth the view. Quiet & private. Saw a couple bald eagles as well.
If you are in to hiking...this is the place to go! It's off of Hwy 12 North of Sioux City Iowa in Plymouth County. Blink and you will miss it so be prepared! The hike up to the cabin is extremely steep and you will not be able to get anything up there besides a Backpack. We love it up there though..very serene and I have never seen anyone else up there. I believe it's the best view of the east side of South Dakota there is. Check it out!
Beautiful rustic cabin with a few basic amenities. No power or plumbing. No neighbors, minimal traffic noise. Absolutely breathtaking views.
