Truly a shame. Not one for reviews, but I’ve lost my neighborhood haunt. I’ve been coming every week since the bar has opened and unfortunately the life and soul has been sucked out of it. Nick and Sammy were something special, perfect drinks, perfect company. They had my usual order ready before I had even one foot in the door. Very nice layout that’s small but big enough for those staying in the area. Not super busy in evening or morning. Vintage yet updated modern clean feel throughout. Nice cafe next door support great breakfast and coffee and utilizes this space in the Longfellow lobby for seating. Great vibes, low to moderate noise that you can still hear a normal conversation.
Blown away by the quality of food and drink at Five of Clubs! I had the bread & butter board, kale salad, bistro burger, and maple vanilla cake-- it's too hard to pick a favorite! As for drinks, we tried the espresso martini, the Wilde gray gimlet, the sea cook, and the five of clubs. Great bar snacks and cocktails
This is my absolute favorite place in town. The atmosphere is so pleasant whether on a quiet winter night or a bustling Friday evening. Drinks are incredible, and though pricey, not any more expensive than other spots in town (which is impressive for a hotel bar). The main reason we come here is the staff. They are so friendly and come up with the most amazing cocktails. Sheila, Mena, John, and Sammy can do no wrong!
