Beware of the up-sell. Our pet came in for eye care because of dry eye and crusty around the eye lids. Streeter wanted full work up for $1000 or option of putting our pet down because she was old. No clear list of what full work up meant, but was non-negotiable according to Streeter. So, no treatment for the condition we brought her in for, just brought her home. Waste of money and time for the “no-help” visit and crass attitude of the doctor and staff.
I will NEVER go back!! I had a decent experience with Five Mile Vet until I my dog actually had a problem! My dog one day stopped eating her food. I brought her into Five Mile Vet and we left with no answers; however they did prescribe probiotics. They suggested I bring in a poop sample, which I did they next day. They told me it would be 25.00$ to have that sample tested and told me I could pay it next time I was in. A week later I received a call from Five Mile Vet saying I owed them 100.00$. Dr. Vernon Streeter is a top notch vet i travel well out of my way to take my dogs to his office my family has been using five mile pet clinic for 36 years

Best Vet Care I love five mile! When one of our cats got really sick we feared that we would have to put her down. We would go there every day and they always told us what was going on and let us go in the back to see our cat. The cat made it and we were thrilled at how well they took care of her. Now with our other cats they are still super nice, and explain everything to us. I won't go to any other vet clinic because i love this one to much.
