5 guys is my favorite, and I've never had a bad burger. This location ruined it for me. The burger meat was dry, the buns were dry, the fries were dark. The cook likes to overcook everything apparently. They were definitely prioritizing the take out orders over the dine in customers. Won't be back to this location. Strike 1 5Guys, don't make me switch to Fatburger as my go to.
I love Five Guys! Great burgers with all the fixings that I want. Peanuts to eat while you wait. Couldn't ask for more.
I visited the Five Guys Shawnessy location today and had a very disappointing experience. The fries were undercooked and lacked proper texture, while the beef patties were missing that signature Five Guys smoky flavor. It’s obvious the new staff lacked experience, but this falls squarely on management. The supervisors failed their duty to supervise and review the food before it went out. Letting subpar burgers and fries get served to paying customers is a failure of the entire restaurant, not the fault of the new trainees.
