I walked into Five Guys craving a decent burger, not expecting to leave with a receipt that looked like a car payment. $14 for a single goddamn burger. Then they hit me with $5 for fries and $4 for a drink. Did I accidentally walk into a steakhouse run by clowns? And for what? Delicious burgers close to the same price as the others at this point. Can't beat their current little burger combo for 12.99! Staff is friendly and quick at this location.
They seemed polite when I walked in and they greeted me, but then the girl who took my order seemed annoyed and didn't say thank you after I paid (not a big deal). The fries were the consistency of boiled potatoes, in fact you could bend them without breaking, I tossed them. The hotdog was good. The dining tables and chairs were sticky, there was no one else in the restaurant so there should have been time to wipe the tables.
It's great food. Music was so loud it felt like I was at a club. We stayed but with that environment there are some people who will leave. Older persons and anyone who gets headaches easily. I would recommend turning down the music.
