Very awkward checkout experience. Nearly half of the self checkout stations were open but one lady insisted to be the only one allowed to use one to checkout customers. Just so I understand, self checkout lanes are operational and ready for use but I have to wait for a chatty employee to ring people out while the other customers pile in behind me? Five Belows are ridiculous now. Having to wait 14 min to checkout when there are 6 self checkout registers wide open but they refuse to let you use them is absolutely infuriating!! And then they only ever have 1 person working to check you out at the "self" checkout. I really need to stop coming here... Sucks cuz my kids love it.
Whats the point of having self checkout , if im told i cant use it and the employee at the self checkout has to check me out and i still have to bag my own things. If im in a rush now im forced to wait for someone to help me check out 1 or 2 items . so unnecessary and not convenient at all .
They "no longer do self check out" but all the registers are self check out... Registers not closed and no signage. Just 1 person checking people out at a self check out register (1 of 6) while yelling at everyone at line. The dozen customers in line have no way of knowing that the 5 open registers are banned from use. What in the world is management of this location thinking?
