We’ve stayed at the historic Fitzroy Inn previously. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this stunning piece of history is an absolute treat, and a testament to country hospitality. The fact it is animal/dog friendly has allowed us to take Marlo our Cavoodle away with us for the weekend. Wander the gardens, sit on the verandah at sunset and enjoy a sundowner, or chat with the guests in the conservatory at breakfast; it’s a not-to-be-missed Southern Highlands attraction.
We had our wedding here and it was the best experience ever. The venue was stunning, the grounds were well maintained, and very lush. The staff were so helpful, went above and beyond to make sure the day went without a hitch. They answered all our questions in the lead up and had a plan for every outcome. The rooms were spotless. Having lived in the Southern Highlands many years ago and returning for a wedding, well it didn't disappoint at all. We were the proud parent and step parent of the groom. Our room was more than enough for us, loved the balcony, thanks for being very accommodating to our needs especially our little fur baby. Can't thank you enough, the wedding for Dan & Em was beautiful thankfully the rain held out until they finished their vows but it didn't hold the celebrations back.
